While the Kardashian sisters might not be everyone’s cup of tea, there’s no denying their sartorial exploits are always fascinating, often unexpected and frequently cutting edge to the point of actually setting trends.

Eldest sister Kourtney, 41, is perhaps the least in the limelight and often prefers not to court the media as ambitiously as her siblings (though let’s be honest she’s hardly a recluse) but when she does step out, it’s always in something outside the box yet somehow signature to her.

Of the Kardashian siblings, Kourtney often goes for more fashion-forward ensembles and loves a directional, edgy look.

Along with Kim, who’s said to be styled by husband Kanye (and yes, admittedly sometimes looks downright weird), Kourtney often goes for more fashion-forward ensembles and loves a directional, edgy look.

At the moment there’s a distinct mood with Kourtney’s wardrobe for buttoned-up and belted jackets worn as nearly standalone outfits – though there are, in all cases (including the shorter takes such as the blue blazer, which includes a pair of bike shorts, I swear), garments underneath.

It’s a chic and super feminine way to work a trans-seasonal outfit, when you still need to wear a lightweight jacket but don’t want it flapping around.

It’s also good to see that despite the outfit changes (and the millions of dollars) there are some repeats on accessories – a must-have mini bag, cat-eye sunglasses and – standing at just 5 foot nothing – it’s not surprising those very chunky boots are a favourite of Kourtney’s.

And if you’re not quite sure about the boots at first, take my word for it, they’re about to become a thing.
